McClelland Sculpture Park+Gallery in association with Southern Way has established a program of biennial commissions for major outdoor sculptures, known as the Southern Way McClelland Commission. As part of an ongoing program a new sculpture will be commissioned every two years, resulting in 14 commissions over 25 years.
This year’s commission will be displayed on the Peninsula Link freeway close to McClelland Sculpture Park+Gallery on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, Australia, for four years before becoming part of McClelland’s permanent collection.
Applications for the Southern Way McClelland Commission are now open. The recipient of the commission will be announced in July 2018 and it is envisaged the work will be completed by the end of July 2019. More information at www.mcclellandgallery.com
