IAVA artists making their mark

IAVA is so proud of our members’ achievements. Melissa Ritchie has been selected as a Finalist in the Kangaroo Valley Art Prize for her  portrait  Self-help cramming: portrait of Luke McGregor and also received a Highly Commended in the John Copes Portrait Prize with her portrait of Nat Bassingthwaite, The Washing can wait.

Megan Seres hasn’t exactly been resting either! She has been selected as a Finalist in this year’s Mosman Art Prize with her piece Girl of gold – honey sweet and has been selected as a semi-finalist in the Doug Moran Portrait Prize with two works – Refusal and Scarlett – tracing an invisible presence.

Congratulations to both artists, and best of luck!
