Jennifer was a much loved founding member of IAVA. She was the catalyst who pushed the idea of a Contemporary exhibition that birthed IAVA. She was an inaugural member of IAVA in December 2010. A passionate artist till the very end, Jen exhibited in every single IAVA exhibition in her final year, and continued to exhibit alongside her dear friends Moira Kirkwood and Julie Donnelly at Hazelhurst Gallery, shortly after her passing.

Penny Hulbert • 1964 - 2021
Penny was a much loved member of IAVA, and was an exhibiting artist in IAVA’s 2021 Lore exhibition. Penny has been a member of IAVA for many years and was an exemplar of the high level of artistic enquiry, intellectual pursuit, and professionalism that IAVA strives for. Penny was a good friend to many IAVA members and was always up for a good old chat about painting and art. A passionate educator and creative, her life was full .
She will be sorely missed.
