Artists Statement

My work spans a wide range of media from the more traditional methods to the use of sound and video installation.

I have exhibited in the Uk ,France, Canada, Korea and Australia as well as the USA undertaken residencies at various institutions such as The university of Northumbria in the UK and the University of Calgary Canada . I was appointed as the International Advisor to the Chinese National Academy of Fine Art.

Since I retired as the Dean of Fine arts, Music , Drama and Design from UWS I have worked in my own studio here in the lllawarra region, where I have produced work that is strongly influenced by the human engagement with this region.

My work has been exhibited here in Australia by The Watters Gallery, Celia Wonder Irving Gallery the Wooloomooloo. Gallery, the Goya Gallery Melbourne . Internationally I have exhibited at the University of Calgary, the Bede Gallery in the Uk, the Auzances gallery France the Institute of Science and Art Prague, at the international exhibition of Performance Art in Seoul Korea at he Biennale of Calligraphic art in Kcvea Was included in the British Councils touring exhibition of Artists from the North of England which was exhibited in the Penrith Regional Gallery , the Newcastle City Gallery. And the Brisbane Art Gallery and other regional galleries.

I have lectured at various institutions here and overseas .
